Trilateral has experience of leading and contributing to over 35 European, National, and International research projects. Trilateral provides a wide-range of innovation management and technology development services, including: privacy, data protection, and ethical and social impact assessments, privacy by design support, technology assessment, applied research and evaluations, policy and regulatory advice, marketing and business model development, algorithm development, predictive analytics, machine learning solutions, data cleaning and preparation, data analysis and data visualisation. Within the field of crime, Trilateral has expertise in the domain of terrorism, including: propaganda and extremism. Furthermore, Trilateral’s expertise in ethics, privacy and data protection is specifically centred around existing and emerging technologies including: data analytics (including machine learning and algorithm development), drones and biometrics (among other areas). In DANTE, TRI will use its expertise in ethics, privacy and data protection to support the consortium in managing research ethics monitoring activities as well as conducting an ethical impact assessment of the DANTE system (WP3). Furthermore, Trilateral’s expertise in criminology and specifically within terrorism and propaganda will be used to contribute to the criminological analysis in WP2.
